Developer documentation is currently available on the old Openquote Wiki, this is accessible form the project area on SourceForge. The documentation and wiki can be found here: http://oquote.wiki.sourceforge.net/Documentation http://oquote.wiki.sourceforge.net/ Should the existing documentation not provide you with the information you need, please ask in the support forums - registration is not required. All Wiki content is currently being migrated from the SourceForge resource to the new OpenQuote MediaWiki, once complete the SourceForge OpenQuote Wiki will be turned off. More details are available on the Wiki page and a news article will be published when migration is complete. A new documentation work stream is about to get underway for the OpenQuote project, this will include everything from high level overview presentations, through to user guides and detailed developer documentation. User documentation is being given priority over developer documentation, however we do appreciate both are fundamental to the success of the project and the writing of developer documentation has been committed to. Templates for the new documents will be made available to documentation contributors via this site shortly, the templates will have a small area for the document sponsors details, so when a company contributes to a document they get the opportunity to advertise their involvement - the OpenQuote teams way of showing our appreciation for their effort. Before being made available on this site documentation will need to be approved by the project administrators. The Documentation workstream is a major piece of work and will take time. The inital piece of work will be focusing on documenting the existing OpenQuote functionality, afterwhich documentation will become a natural part of each project delivery made. |
